3. Miami trades a 2022 2nd round pick to the Atlanta Falcons for Calvin Ridley

This is an obvious fan favorite trade idea out there, and it should be. Some people think getting Ridley to pair with Tua Tagovailoa is why this needs to happen, but how about just the fact that Ridley is good and should be added?

Adding Ridley wouldn’t be about Tagovailoa; it would be about improving the Miami Dolphins roster. And Ridley would do that and then some.

Pairing Ridley with Waddle would be an insane combination. I still think Waddle would be the No. 1 WR and alpha on the team, but Ridley would be an elite WR1 B.

Opposing defenses would have trouble defending both of these guys, but the Dolphins would need a quarterback to push the ball down the field to maximize both receivers’ potentials.

Both Ridley and Waddle can fly, so it would only make sense if Miami would throw deeper this year instead of only having one touchdown pass over 10+ yards this season.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, a 2nd round pick should get Ridley, so sign me up!
