Miami Dolphins: 15 Playoff Players to target
By Pablo Rosero
Los Angles Rams running back Sony Michel
When Cam Akers went down for the Los Angeles Rams with a torn achilles during camp, the team sought for another back that could slot in next to Darrell Henderson Jr. The team ended up acquiring Sony Michel from the New England Patriots.
The former Georgia Bulldog running back was fairly inconsistent during his time with the Patriots and eventually lost the job to Damien Harris. Michel was featured as the second back for most of the year until the back end, when Henderson got hurt.
Michel went on to be the Rams lead back and has excelled at the position. Although Akers somehow returned, which is shocking but more shocking how good he looked against the Arizona Cardinals, and is now seeming like he’ll split carrie’s with Michel.
The Miami Dolphins are in dire need of running back help, that’s not surprising at this point. Michel does have a chance to continue his breakout if the team can somehow upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Michel may not be the best back on this list, but he’s young and shown he can be dynamic. The former first-rounder is finally living up to that billing and should very well be sought after.
