Miami Dolphins: 15 Playoff Players to target
By Pablo Rosero
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette
We’ve already gone through this list that the Miami Dolphins are in dire need of running back help and that they’ll need to find a game changing running back that can help a young quarterback develop. Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette isn’t the best running back on this list or left in the playoffs, but he would give the Dolphins a high caliber of running back they haven’t had for years.
After being draft fourth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018, Fournette has seen his ups and downs in the NFL. He has been to two conference championships, has been cut been he Jaguars and has gone on to win a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fournette is a powerful runner, he has been since his days at LSU, he’s also a much better pass catcher than given credit for. He’s proven he can be a dynamic game changing running back that the Dolphins have lacked for years.
With Tampa having Ronald Jones also set to hit free agency it’ll be interesting to see which of the two backs the team will decide to bring back. Fournette has been more productive, but would likely cost more if he hits the open market.
