Minnesota Vikings add Michigan EDGE David Ojabo at 12

12. Scouting Report. EDGE. DavidOjabo. 60. Pick Analysis. Michigan. player

The Minnesota Vikings missed out on the playoffs this past season and the clock is seemingly ticking on starting quarterback Kirk Cousins’s time with the team. The team also missed out on Jim Harbaugh and instead are set to hire Los Angles Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell.

The offense doesn’t need much added to it. Cousins’ had one of his better seasons in 2021, wideout Justin Jefferson is flourishing into one of the games best players in front of our eyes, wideout Adam Thielen is still highly productive when healthy, running back Dalvin Cook is one of the games most impactful players, and the team should get back a healthy Irv Smith Jr. to sure up the tight end room.

Taking Michigan’s David Ojabo would give the Vikings an impactful EDGE rusher across from Danielle Hunter. Hunter missed most of 2021 with injury and the team also did not have Everson Griffin for most of the year. While Patrick Jones II, the team’s 2021 third rounder, did a decent job, adding another EDGE would bring back some identity to the Vikings.

The team’s offense should excel once again and adding Ojabo should help get after the quarterbacks in the NFC North.
