Cowboys snag FSU EDGE Jermaine Johnson at 24

The Dallas Cowboys once again failed to win in the postseason after a mind-boggling loss to the San Francisco 49ers. However, the team did take a win with both coordinators, Dan Quinn, and Kellen Moore.

Even with Moore coming back to call plays, the team will need to figure out how to be consistent on offense. The Cowboys’ offense struggled at times, but they don’t have any pressing needs on that side of the ball.

The Cowboys have improved defensively thanks to the pick of Defensive Rookie of the Year in Micah Parsons and the continual improvement of Demarcus Lawrence and Trevon Diggs. It was the first time the Cowboys’ defense has looked above average in a few seasons.

Adding Florida State EDGE Jermaine Johnson would be a solid addition next to Lawrence and Randy Gregory.  Johnson was the 2021 ACC Defensive Player of the Year after doing a little bit of everything for the Seminoles. He would bring another young explosive prospect to Quinn’s defense.

An improved defense has helped the Cowboys end up back in the playoffs and win the division, but they need to get the most out of their offense if they want to go any further.
