Will Fuller shouldn’t be back and if he is back, then he should be playing on a massively reduced contract or one that starts with a league minimum and a lot of incentives.

Last year Fuller missed all but two games. He broke his finger early in the season and missed the rest of the year. Many fans took to social media to complain and rightfully so. An image that Fuller released of his finger and an X-ray showing the multiple fractures led to a lot of of social media apologies but the fact Fuller still didn’t want to play in Miami should be a huge negative sign for a new deal.

Fuller was paid a full $10 million last year. He was suspended the first game and rumors circulated that he wanted out of Miami a week later. He sat out week 2 for personal reasons. Over the last several years, Fuller has dealt with quite a few injury issues and he isn’t likely going to play the 2022 season without dealing with something new.

The Dolphins would be smart to not even make a phone call to him about a new contract, even at a league minimum.

Stay or go? Definitely go.
