Terron Armstead

The Miami Dolphins desperately need help on the offensive line. There is a possibility that they use some draft capital to address the position, but it is highly likely that they spend a healthy chunk of their available dollars on veteran big men up front.

Terron Armstead would be a great get For Miami. He has developed in to one of the better left tackles in the league, and qualified for the Pro Bowl for three consecutive seasons from 2018-2020. His presence would go a long way in helping to fix what was a historically bad unit last season, but he wouldn’t come without risk.

Armstead will command top dollar on the open market, and could wind up being the most expensive offensive linemen outside of perhaps Brandon Scherff. The Dolphins will be willing to shell out some serious cash, but Armstead comes with a bit of an injury issue as well. He was hurt in the opening game of the 2021 season, an issue that lingered and caused him to miss the latter half of the year. He underwent surgery to repair his knee at the beginning of the off season.

Armstead has never finished a full slate of games in any season of his career, a fact that could hinder Miami’s pursuit of the talented tackle.
