I alluded to it earlier but it deserves its own slide. Ryan Jensen would automatically be one of the toughest, most in-your-face guys the Dolphins would have on the team.

If you ever have watched any Tampa Bay Buccaneers games over the last five years, you probably noticed this guy on their line whose face was redder than hell. That was Jensen. In that same game you noticed that red face and you probably noticed that red face almost picking a fight with a few guys. Yes, Jensen is big into not letting anybody disrespect him. I have the feeling that Jensen has a laundry list of offenses that he would find disrespectful, but that’s fine with me. I want an offensive line that every week the opposing defense knows it’s going to be a battle.

Jensen, on the line, will bring an attitude that hasn’t been on the line in at least five-plus years, and even then it wasn’t like the Pouncey led lines were ever considered nasty.

I’ve found that those units on football teams that carry themselves with a sense of swagger or toughness are usually very reliable. It becomes a pride thing where every week that unit doesn’t want to look bad. Of course, it happens from time to time but the goal is to minimize below-average performances.

Adding Jensen begins to put the Dolphin’s offensive line toward the right direction of being a core unit on the team. Based on Tua being the quarterback, the offensive line needs to be the focal point of the offense that is until Tua makes the leap. I don’t know if he will but I do know if he does he needs the line upfront to take care of business.
