Georgia remains an NFL factory when it comes to producing NFL ready running backs. Sony Michel, Nick Chubb, and De’Andre Swift are leading the way right now, but they should be ready to add James Cook and Zamir White to their ranks after this draft.

White, a one time five star recruit out of high school, dealt with an ACL injury early in his career and could never become the dominant running back many thought he would be. However, White is a powerful runner who is great in the red zone and can bring an immediate spark for a team in need of a running back.

Don’t be fooled by his seventh round billing, White could be a player that climbs up boards and his combine performance could help with that. At 6-feet, 215-pounds, White is a taller back with a thin frame for his height, but his 4.4 40-yard dash shows that hes a blazer and adds to his value.

White, who was the 420 ranked player at PFN, should see his name called and he should eventually be a solid starter for a team. McDaneil has seen late round and undrafted players become workhorses in his time with Kyle Shannahan, White could continue that trend.
