3. Thunder and Lightning

“A little thunder. A little lightning. Little thunder. Littler lightning!”

I would like to formally apply for the person who creates DK Metcalf and Jaylen Waddle’s tandem nickname. Thunder and lightning! Metcalf has lightning, but this dude is built like a Greek god and a monster. Waddle is the lightning, obviously, as this dude is one of the fastest, most explosive players in the NFL.

That’s why reason number one is obvious: Pairing Waddle and Metcalf would give Miami one of the best wide receiver tandems in the entire NFL.

Teams would struggle trying to determine how they are going to contain both Waddle and Metcalf, which is why Miami should go get Metcalf.

In Seattle, Metcalf and fellow wide receiver Tyler Lockett were a great tandem, and Waddle plugged in for Lockett would be even better.

Starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa would be able to sleep easy knowing he’s got those two studs to throw the rock to.
