2. Metcalf is better than all receivers in the 2022 NFL Draft

I think one of my most hated arguments against trading for DK Metcalf is that you can get someone younger and better in the 2022 NFL Draft. That statement is not true, and honestly, it has no chance to be proven true for a few years. It’s a huge risk to hope that any player you Draft will work out, so that is why I am all about getting the proven players with guaranteed production.

I am the biggest Jahan Dotson Stan out there, but there is no way I’m saying Dotson will be better than Metcalf in the NFL. I hope he is, and I believe he can be, but that is too much of a risk for me.

If you have a choice between drafting a rookie wide receiver at pick 29 or trading that pick for Metcalf, you better ask Metcalf what number he wants to wear in Miami!

Look at the Los Angeles Rams. “F*** those picks!” They traded their picks for proven players, and those proven players proved to be worth it by leading the team to a Super Bowl.
