Round 4, Pick 125: Alec Lindstrom, C, Boston College

The Dolphins will likely add a center in free agency, but if they do not land J.C. Tretter, Miami will still need a center for the future. Michael Deiter is a solid center, but his injury issues and inconsistent play should be enough for Miami to look for a new center in the 2022 NFL Draft.

For me, I think any center they believe in and take before Round 5, I would trust and hope they can become the starter in the future. And in this mock draft, Miami’s new offensive line coach Matt Applebaum gets one of his former guys, Boston College center Alec Lindstrom.

Lindstrom will not blow you away, but what he does best is does his job. Lindstrom is a center who will play through the whistle and never take a play off, which is all you can ask for. He is undersized, but his football mind allows him to succeed.
