Naturally, trading for Tyreek Hill is awesome on several levels

Chris Grier just channeling his inner Ric Flair by being a wheeling-dealing son of a gun by not having to part with any of the two 1st round picks the Dolphins, currently, have in the 2023 draft. Miami has their own and the San Francisco 49ers pick. I wouldn’t be shocked if that team took a massive step back next year so that may not be a bad one to hold on to.

Also and this is simply a reality, we may need those picks to package for another quarterback(foreshadowing the list), or use one to draft another quarterback next year. I hope that isn’t the case but I guess we’ll see.

Or, the Dolphins can use those picks on any position. Could be another offensive lineman or a top cornerback of Howard is gone. Who knows? Every year brings news needs and the Dolphins regardless of what they do this year are going to need to bolster units with starters. Those two 1st rounders are incredibly valuable and it’s simply amazing that Grier didn’t have to give up one of them. Good on him for being good at his job.
