Calais Campbell

Bring Calais home! This former hurricane has had an amazing career and has had an impact to all teams he has played on.  The Miami Dolphins defense is young and hungry, but one key thing that is missing is a player that can control the locker room.  Think of this like Cameron Wake, or Joey Porter or even better, Jason Taylor.  The Dolphins needed that veteran presence, when they are down by 15 in the 4th quarter.  Who will be leading them on the sidelines.  This is where veterans show up and I think Calais is the missing piece for Miami to take the final steps.

Then you can start thinking about the mentorship Calais can have on a player like Christian Wilkins or a former hurricane Jalen Philips, that is something that is priceless.  Calais has no ties to our top players, but the biggest tie is South Beach.  Calais wants to play for a contender and Mike McDaniel and Chris Grier have just built a team that looks like they are at least playoff bound.  One key thing to remember is that the best secondary in the league is the one that plays the fewest amount of time.  Which translates to pass rush, that is what Calais can do on third and long.

What do you think? With the addition of these two players, who would you like to see them recruit?
