Chase and Higgins really emerged as one of the best duos in the league last season. With Chase hitting the ground running with his former college teammate, Joe Burrow, it only helped Higgins grow as a player in year 2.

Ja’Marr Chase is a special, special player. Outside of Tyreek Hill, was there a more electrifying player with the ball in their hands last season? The 22 year old, had 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13TDs. It felt like almost every game Chase was catching a deep ball from Burrow, or taking a screen pass 60 yards for a touchdown. Expect the young player to get even better in year 2, and continue his HOF trajectory.

Tee Higgins came out of Clemson and produced quickly. With Joe Burrow going down with a knee injury in his rookie season, Higgins came up a little short of 1,000 yards in his first year. However, Burrow stayed healthy in 2021, and that resulted in Higgins crossing the threshold of a 1,000 yard receiver. Standing at 6’4, 220 pounds, Higgins serves as the big body receiver in the Bengals offense. He routinely comes down with contested catches, and I believe he would put up even better numbers in an offense without Ja’Marr Chase in it.

Overall, this is the youngest duo in the NFL, with potential to be the most lethal combo in a couple years. They compliment each other perfectly, with Chase being the fast YAC machine, and Higgins being the big bodied possession receiver. They’re not quite at the level of the other duos on this list yet, but the sky truly is the limit for this pair.
