New Dolphins WR, Tyreek Hill:

Tyreek Hill was one of the biggest factors to Patrick Mahomes’ magician mystique, although Mahomes is a spectacular player on his own. But I’m sure you remember more than a handful of moments where Mahomes threw it up for Hill, thus the meme “F- it, Tyreek down there somewhere” you have probably seen all over the internet.

Well now Hill is coming to Miami and he’ll be catching passes from QB Tua Tagovailoa, of course Tagovailoa is no Mahomes. But Hill is a killer off the slant, and Tagovailoa can definitely hit him in space so he can outrun an entire defense on YAC.

That’s how the Chiefs used him these past playoffs vs the Bills, and he burned Buffalo for a TD in the final moments of the  4th Quarter.

Tyreek Hill by the numbers, 2021:

  • 1,239 Yds
  • 155 Targets
  • 111 Catches
  • 9 Touchdowns

Tyreek Hill is a YAC demon, and with Mike McDaniel’s scheming he might turn Hill into a similar, or even more dangerous version of Deebo Samuel. Hill’s smaller frame might not be fit for trucking through players like Samuel, but Hill can evade and out-run an entire defense.

Did it to the Dolphins in 2020,

Tyreek Hill ran at a 4.29 40-Yd dash at the NFL Combine, and he might be faster with full pads on.
