Mike Gesicki, TE:

While writing this I decided to look at Mike Gesicki as an honorable mention but then I realized how fast he is, Gesicki plays the slot a lot. And in past off seasons (especially this one) a new contract was rumored to focus around Gesicki switching positions to WR.

At first I thought that would be a bit strange, but Gesicki can really move.

In full pads Gesicki may not look as fast but there is a reason he is open so often, the man always wins his matchups. This is also why Gesicki on the receiving end is a top 5 TE, receiving only not blocking.

Gesicki had a career year this past season under a bad offense that often underused him, but he actually put up career high stats across the board. This leaves the road open for massive improvements in 2022 under a better offense. Look out for another possible career year from Mike Gesicki.

Mike Gesicki by the numbers, 2021:

  • 106 Targets
  • 73 Catches
  • 780 Yards
  • 2 TD’s

Mike Gesicki ran a 4.54 at the NFL Combine.
