Devante Parker’s current contract is extremely cap friendly for the Dolphins:

Devante Parker is only set to have a cap hit of $8.3 Million in 2022, very cheap if Parker manages to stay on the field. with the amount of talent the Dolphins have on offense there won’t be no need for Parker to be a protagonist or key piece, his week in and week out availability won’t be much of an issue if any with the amount of depth Miami has on offense.

“So why keep Parker if the offense would barely need his services?”

Like Mike McDaniel said you can never have too many playmakers, but apart from that Parker is highly efficient when on the field and also has very good chemistry with QB Tua Tagovailoa. Great chemistry especially when you consider how limited work Parker & Tagovailoa have gotten together.

DeVante Parker could end up being the missing link late in the season, with how loaded the AFC is no team wants to find themselves short handed on the WR room due to injuries. And if you’re a Dolphins fan then you know how quick Miami can go from a full room of healthy WR’s to practice squad WR’s due to injuries.

Which leads us to the final and most important part.
