Round 6 and Round 7 – Like most teams, the Dolphins will be looking to find a diamond in the rough at this stage of the draft.

Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa – Edge – Notre Dame – I mean, who wouldn’t want another Tagovailoa on the team. At least we’d have a head start on being able to say and spell his name. Tagovailoa-Amosa has been a contributor on a very good Notre Dame defense over the past several years. Tagovailoa-Amosa has the size at 262 lbs not only to be a pass rusher but also an edge setter.

Esezi Otomewo – Edge – Minnesota – Otomewo is a big dude playing at 6’6” and 280 lbs. Otomewo will need to develop pass rush skills to be a contributor in that aspect. Otomewo’s size also gives him the potential to play in an interior role where his quickness could help him succeed.

Ellis Brooks – LB – Penn State – Brooks played in the shadows of Micah Parsons during his time at State College. Brooks has both athleticism and size and has the potential to develop into a starting MIKE linebacker. A true project that could learn playing behind Elandon Roberts.

Amari Carter – S – Miami – Carter plays mean as evident by his multiple unnecessary roughness and targeting penalties. A player who plays through the echo of the whistle. Carter hits ball carriers violently. Carter would be another developmental option who would contribute on special teams.
