Buffalo Bills

This is the game (or games) that Tua Tagovailoa should have circles every season.

The new class of the division is clearly the Buffalo Bills, and they have had the Miami Dolphins’ number over the past few seasons. Buffalo has won the last seven match ups between the two teams, with the last Miami victory coming in December 2018. Josh Allen has been particularly excellent against the Dolphins, throwing for 300+ yards and 10+ touchdowns, more than he has against any other team.

If the Dolphins ever hope to make it over the hump and have any chance of winning the AFC East for the first time since 2008, they will have to figure out how to regularly defeat Allen and the Bills. It will obviously be a team effort, but Tua Tagovailoa will have to step up in a big way. Some of the most disappointing games for both he and the Dolphins have come at the hands of Buffalo, including the win-and-you’re-in game that Miami embarrassingly choked away in Week 17 of the 2020 season.

There will of course be two chances for Tua and the Dolphins to play against the Bills in 2022. Getting a victory in at least one of the two will be a step in the right direction.
