Retaining Emmanuel Ogbah went a long way to keeping the team’s defense together.

With 26 players allocated to the offensive side of the ball, the Dolphins focus on defense will likely be to keep as many players from last years roster as possible. The Dolphins have 53 roster spots with 26 going to offense and three going to special teams. That leaves 24 for defense.

Current roster

  • Daeshon Hall
  • Emmanuel Ogbah
  • Christian Wilkins
  • Raekwon Davis
  • Zach Sieler
  • Adam Butler

The defensive line isn’t a hard group to predict and the only real question is whether or not Miami has room for Adam Butler. Butler could be a relatively small but surprising release depending on how Miami views the rest of the roster on defense but I have him making the roster again this year.

Total roster: 5

Current roster: 31
