Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens:

The entire Ravens team was decimated by injuries this past season and Lamar Jackson wasn’t lucky to avoid it, from the start Jackson was taking more hits and bigger hits than usual. Despite being recognized for being iron-man tough on the football field, Jackson’s recklessness with his body caught up to him quickly.

The previous seasons Jackson did a great job at making spectacular plays while protecting his body from too many shots, or hits that are too violent. However the Ravens found themselves in a lot of life or death situations in game this season, and it was up to Jackson to put his body on the line in order for the team to have a chance at winning.

Jackson was putting his body through the ringer at the beginning of the season, and his spectacular ability pushed him into the MVP conversation once again in 2021. However the former MVP did run into those injuries that limited him severely and eventually ended his season.

So the concern for Jackson in 2022 is durability, we all know Lamar Jackson is a 1-of-1 talent but how many games will he be able to show that? Will Jackson be able to perform at a high level and carry his team to the playoffs while remaining  healthy?

Or will Jackson deal with injuries and barely get his team there? Or will he deal with injuries that eventually kill the Ravens’ expectations for the year?
