Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders:

Derek Carr is one of the most underrated and disrespected QB’s in this league, had to get it from the mud as some would say. I’m a big Derek Carr fan and if it were up to me he would have made the top 5, but I’m as objective as I can be.

Derek Carr led a ‘Frankenstein’ roster to a playoff berth in a year where many people were waiting on the Raiders to crumble, this squad just wouldn’t quit. The mind behind the madness? Derek Carr.

John Gruden fired, Henry Ruggs in prison, Damon Arnette death threats, Darren Waller injured, along many more problems that just kept piling on would break any team, but not the Vegas Raiders.

If you look at stats only Carr wasn’t that impressive, but Derek Carr was the difference maker in keeping drives alive, making something happen when nothing is there, and doing whatever it takes to put the team on his back and walk out of the stadium with a W.

The Las Vegas Raiders went 4-0 in overtime games in 2021 and won a record 6 games on the final play of the game, per ESPN. This is courtesy of Mr. Clutch himself, Derek Carr. Now Carr has a new coach, new roster, and a new #1 receiver in Davante Adams.
