2. Miami Dolphins

Your Miami Dolphins could be one of the boom or bust teams for the 2022 season.

Their chips are all in to the middle of the table. The team went out and spent big money during free agency, and made one of the biggest splashes of the new league year when they traded for Tyreek Hill. All of the new toys that first year head coach Mike McDaniel acquired certainly look great on paper, and it is an exciting time to be a Dolphins fan. But there is the possibility for failure, as we’ve seen teams load up like this in the past, only to fall on their faces.

But we can feel much better about Miami’s chances in the AFC East than we have in some time. They certainly have a more talented roster than both the Jets and Patriots, and they have lessened the gap between them and the Bills, albeit slightly. Anything can happen on any given Sunday, so don’t be surprised to see Miami in contention not only for the playoffs, but possibly for a division championship when the late season rolls around.

In order to be the best, they’re going to have to beat the best. And recent matchups between the two prove that the Dolphins are a long way off.
