1. Buffalo Bills

The class of the division, and potentially the new Evil Empire, the Buffalo Bills will look to continue their reign in 2022.

Aside from the departure of offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, there weren’t many losses from a Bills team that nearly sniffed the Super Bowl last season. Cryptic tweets from Stephon Diggs aside, it appears as though Buffalo will be as strong as ever this upcoming year. They added pass rushing and size up front on the defensive end, and made some respectable tweaks and depth signings on the offensive side of the ball.

Josh Allen is still the best quarterback in the division, one of the top 5 in the game, and an MVP candidate. He also owns the Dolphins until further notice, as well. Allen plays better against Miami than any other team, putting up numbers that his stats against the Jets and Patriots would be jealous of.

Until the Dolphins can find an answer for Allen, they’ll always be behind the 8-ball in the division. If Miami ever hopes to clear the final hurdle and be crowned champions of the AFC East, they’ll have to find a way to regularly beat the Bills. For now, that puts Buffalo as the undisputed #1 team of the bunch.
