Miami Dolphins 2022 mock draft round three through seven
By Juan Vasquez
ZaQuandre White, Runningback – South Carolina:
- Height: 6’0″
- Weight: 206
- Class: Senior
ZaQuandre White is seen as a heavily underrated prospect coming out of the draft, thedraftnetwork.com has him labeled as a secondary option in a committee. A system Mike McDaniel ran with the 49ers.
White would be a depth piece that could end up being used if the RB room deals with injuries or doesn’t perform.
Brentley Weissman had this to say about White:
"White possesses excellent size and overall athleticism for the position. He is tall for a running back and runs with an upright body lean. White displays very good vision and patience when pressing the line of scrimmage and has very good burst and straight-line speed to explode through the holes. For a bigger back, White shows an impressive ability to change direction and is outstanding at setting up his defenders with leverage and taking lateral cuts."
Upside and depth at the RB position, are just what the Dolphins need. Lance Zierlein had this to say about White:
"He’s entertaining to watch with unpredictable, razor-sharp cuts from any spot on the field, but he frequently strays from designed run tracks, which prevents him from finding a rhythm. White has plenty of tread left on the tire and his blend of size and explosiveness will be very appealing for teams looking for a developmental RB3 with run/catch upside to move up the depth chart."
