The Miami Dolphins will travel north to face the Bears in Chicago but this is a game that on paper, they should win.

The Bears are not a bad football team but they are not a good one either. Another coaching change, a young quarterback still learning, changes on both sides of the ball and not necessarily for the better.

The Bears finished 6-11 last season and while they made moves this year, none of them will put the Bears in a position to compete for their division or a playoff spot in 2022. They are a team in transition looking for an identity.

Chicago spent the off-season gutting their coaching staff and some of their high-priced veterans, including Khalil Mack who was traded to the Chargers. They released Tarik Cohen, let Allen Robinson go, and released LB Danny Trevathan.

Most of the incoming players are guys that are role players and depth. They didn’t make the same splash in free agency that they did in other years. The Bears are rebuilding around Justin Fields and that is going to take a little time. The Dolphins should be able to beat Chicago regardless of the weather or time of year.
