The New York Jets had a great draft but they could have done a lot more in free agency. Jets fans believe they have enough to climb the AFC East and get out of the cellar but that is a long road to travel this year.

The Jets didn’t get much help from the schedule makers in 2022. They open the season at home two of their first three games but those game feature the Ravens, Browns, and Bengals. In week four they get the Steelers in Pittsburgh and then the Dolphins at home. The Jets very well could open the season 0-3 and by the time they finish playing Miami, they could be 1-4.

It doesn’t get any easier. After Miami they head to Green Bay and then Denver for back-to-back road games before back-to-back home games against the Patriots and Bills all before their week 10 bye. If the Jets can’t beat Miami or Pittsburgh, they very well could be winless by this point. Beating either of those teams will not be easy.

Coming out of the bye week, they will face the Patriots and Bears before heading down another tough stretch that includes the Vikings and Bills. They get the Lions and Jaguars (their only prime game) before wrapping their season with two road games, one to Seattle and the other to Miami.
