8. Kansas City Chiefs:

If you know me then you know I’m a huge Patrick Mahomes fan and still consider him the best QB in the league, however, the Chiefs lost a lot of pieces in the off-season. Not having Tyreek Hill changes everything and the defense on paper looks more suspect than ever.

On top of that, all their division rivals are the strongest they have been in ages. I mean, are the Chiefs the weakest team in their division?

7. Las Vegas Raiders:

Derek Carr is a very underrated talent as a QB, Hunter Renfrow emerged as one of the top WRs in the league last year, and now they’re getting the addition of Davante Adams. On top of that, they made some moves on defense and are ready to compete in all positions.

The Raiders were giving the Chiefs a run for their money recently besides that one blowout last year, is this enough to give them the edge? I think so.

6. Los Angeles Chargers:

All division rivals in this slide, and they’re all in the top 10. The AFC West is a buzzsaw. The Chargers are the readiest they’ve ever been to break out, they have an elite player in all key positions. Justin Herbert is a monster talent and if his defense is any good you can pretty much lock in a playoff win for the Chargers this year.

Chargers could put up points with the best of them, their weakness was defense and they went all in to address it this off-season. It’s time.
