6 possible Pro Bowlers on the Miami Dolphins offense
Miami Dolphins possible Pro Bowler #5: Jaylen Waddle
Recently named the most important player for the future of the Dolphins’ franchise by yours truly, Jaylen Waddle will be looking for his first Pro Bowl appearance in 2022. He might just get it.
The competition, like that of Hill, will be fierce. There is an abundance of great wide receivers in the game today, and Waddle will have to have quite the impressive showing if he hopes to beat most of them out for a spot.
He is capable, though. Waddle was able to set the rookie record for catches in a season in 2021, and that was while being one of the very few focal points for the defense. With the added firepower around him, Waddle could see even more opportunities, and perhaps an appearance in the Pro Bowl.
#6: Tua Tagovailoa
Speaking of fierce positional competition, Tua Tagovailoa will have a serious uphill climb if he hopes to receive the honors over other AFC quarterbacks. Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Russell Wilson and plenty more are all residing in the same conference, one that promises to be an entertaining watch some playoff time.
Tua would have to ball out. He would have to not only bypass his mild expectations and silence that abnormal amount of haters and naysayers he has, but also unseat some of the most elite pass throwers in the game in order to be named as a Pro Bowler.
Will it happen? Doubtful. But some people are taking Tagovailoa at +7500 to win the league’s MVP, so anything is possible.
