Take a seat, it’s a long wait.

If your team’s starting quarterback is in this tier then I am very sorry but your 2022 is going to absolutely stink when it comes to football. In this tier are the placeholders, QBs of teams in tank mode, backups who still have QB1 jobs, and backups.

Here lie the hopes and dreams of your 2022 season, don’t believe the hope your team is selling you. I am here to confirm your team is cooked for the year and it’s probably best to start looking at what QB your team should go for next year.

Quarterback tier E – purgatory:

  • Sam Darnold – Carolina Panthers
  • Carson Wentz – Washington Commanders
  • Drew Lock – Seattle Seahawks
  • Daniel Jones – New York Giants
  • Marcus Mariota – Atlanta Falcons
  • Taylor Heinecke – Washington Commanders

Sam Darnold is a disaster, Drew Lock is the great value version of Baker Mayfield, Danny is throwing picks instead of Dimes, Carson Wentz can be a home run and a catastrophe in the same play, and no comment on the other two.

Although Mariota does have the best chance at being solid this year, the Falcons roster is decimated. And Taylor Heinecke could end up having another cinderella story if Carson Wentz continues on his path of destruction.
