The names in this tier are the names that will go down in history books, many all-time greats:

The only QB who isn’t a champion in this tier is Josh Allen, and that might change by the time February 2023 rolls around. These teams are all Superbowl favorites for this upcoming season, and their QB is a huge factor why.

The landscape is looking brutal for any team that has to run through this bunch, and any team that wants a Superbowl win will have to accept what comes with these turbulent waters. Generational talents, and dang near guaranteed to be etched into history because all of them are in a Hall of Fame talent trajectory.

For Dolphins fans it’s quite the pill to swallow once they realize that Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills could put out this type of dominance for a very long time. Tom Brady owned the division for 20 years and it would be damning if Miami let Buffalo step up to dominate for another 15.

But for now, reality sure does hurt.

Quarterback tier 1 – The elites:

  • Tom Brady – Tampa Bay Bucs
  • Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs
  • Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers
  • Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills
  • Russell Wilson – Denver Broncos

What are your rankings looking like, and where would you place Miami dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa on that list? Being on the unknowns list gives Tua a blank slate to see where his talent is really at by the end of the year.

Miami got sold a generational talent at #5 overall in 2020, and I have not lowered the bar of expectation, so far he has not met it. Year 3 with everything he could ever ask for and then some, the time is now.

Major networks are releasing their NFL Power rankings so we decided to give it a go, where do you think the Miami dolphins land on this list? I bet your guess is wrong.
