The Miami Dolphins need to win the so-called easy ones. The New York Jets are not expected to make a 180-degree turn this season. But they still made improvements in their receiving corp.

They drafted Garrett Wilson with the 10th overall pick in this year’s draft. Pro Football Focus had them as the third-best receiver coming out. He ran a 4.38 40-yard dash this level of speed can be a problem at different levels on the field that you must account for.

New York now has two top 10 draft picks at the wide receiver position. They signed Corey Davis last offseason, while his first year with the team was disappointing. Only played in 9 games due to injury, catching 34 passes for 492 yards.

Elijah Moore, a wide receiver taken 34th overall in 2021 also did not play a full season. He played in 11 games and had 43 receptions with 538 yards.

If Zach Wilson takes a step forward in his development he has the receiving weapons to become a legitimate threat. Of course the issue that was not addressed much by the Jets was their offensive line.

The Miami Dolphins should win these games, but with so many injuries to important players plaguing the Jets, offense may look more effective with players becoming healthy.
