The Miami Dolphins will have more decisions to make across the roster and veterans could find themselves gone.

At safety, Clayton Fejedelem could find himself on the out. Primarily a special team player, Fejedelem doesn’t have much to offer the position itself. He will continue to look up the roster at Jevon Holland, Eric Rowe, and Brandon Jones.

If Sheldrick Redwine can show enough and the Dolphins keep four safeties, Fejedelem could be looking for work.

Working in his favor is the fact that he is very good on special teams and that has not gone unnoticed. He has played well enough on that unit to hang around. Another bonus is that he is only counting $2 million against the cap. In fact, if the Dolphins released him, they would only save $1 million and eat the other million. This bodes well for Fejedelem given his ST contributions.

While he very well could be a roster cut, there are plenty of reasons to keep him around. It will come down to need and positions of importance.
