Channing Tindall, 22, is joining one of the best defenses the league has to offer in the Miami Dolphins.

Tindall is coming into the league as a specialist. His specialty is rushing the quarterback. The Miami Dolphins blitz the second most times out of all the teams in the league last season.

Josh Boyer was kept to keep consistency in a defensive team that is already elite. The blitz-heavy scheme will work in favor of what Tindall did best in college.

Even though he was not a starter on one of the best college defenses of all time in Georgia last season. Tindall made his presence felt with his 22 pressures in 2021.

The linebacker position for the Dolphins is the weak link when analyzing all three levels of the defense.

Adding Tindall via the draft definitely boosts that area. It won’t take long until we see Tindall in the backfield making the lives of the opposing quarterback miserable.

Even if Tindall is not an every down player his ceiling is fairly high purely on a perfect systematic fit. The Miami Dolphins did great by selecting him with the 102nd overall pick.

Adding another weapon to this defense will just create more headaches for the opposite side’s coaching staff.
