Jerome Baker, 25, has been a key piece to the linebacker corps since he was drafted in 2018.

Ever since Baker made his way to the NFL he has had plenty of playing time. Never in his four-year career has he played less than 62% of the team’s defensive snaps per Pro-Football-Reference.

Baker has elite speed that helps him chase the ball sideline-to-sideline. Pairing Baker with Channing Tindall gives this Miami Dolphins some burners at the linebacker position.

The Fins felt he was a piece on this team for years to come. Baker resigned with Miami in June of 2021 through 2024.

Baker looked his best when this defense started to turn around halfway into the 2021 season. Winning the AFC Defensive Player of the Month in December.

The last three seasons have seen Baker lead the Miami Dolphins in tackles. It should be expected he retains his title as the Fins main tackle-getter.

The 2022 NFL season may see Baker jump to another level in his game. All Fins fans may see him make a Pro Bowl by the end of the 2023 season.
