Tua Tagovailoa, 24, the quarterback is the most important position in football. While many may not like Tua he still has the potential to be great.

Tagovailoa is a polarizing figure in the world of the Miami Dolphins. You’re either on the board on his development still being incomplete or already looking at 2023 for the next franchise quarterback.

Tua Tagovailoa has not had a fair chance to show what he can really do. He has had limited weapons and poor offensive line play for his career.

While others may look at Joe Burrow or Justin Herbert and their transcendent talent and compare it to what Tagovailoa has done thus far. But every player is different and Tua still has a chance to prove doubters wrong.

He is going into the 2022 season with some of the best offensive weapons the league can offer and a revamped offensive line.

This will be the season Tua Tagovailoa either becomes the franchise quarterback for the Miami Dolphins or may find himself playing football elsewhere.

Tua has shown he can be a winning quarterback, he is 13-8 for his career. Herbert has a 15-17 record.

Tagovailoa needs to have a Pro Bowl-caliber season. This franchise cannot be satisfied with another mediocre quarterback for half a decade.
