The Dallas Cowboys finished 12-5 last season but like the Cowboys always do, they folded in the postseason. Now, they are just another overrated NFL team.

Helping the Cowboys are the other teams in the NFC East. Washington, Philadelphia, and the Giants have hardly made a big push for the division and typically it is the Cowboys failing to win it rather than another team taking it.

You would think a team with a 12-5 record would be ranked higher but I have them as the 19th best team in the NFL and I stick by that. Philadelphia looks like the better in the NFC East and the Cowboys lost too many pieces this off-season.

The Cowboys offensive line, once an elite group, lost two big names in free agency, traded away one of their top WRs, and lost another WR, Cedrick Wilson in free agency as well. They also lost Randy Gregory to the Broncos.

Can the Cowboys get back to 12 wins? I don’t think so and if they do, it will be shouldered by the defense.
