Miami Dolphins: Raheem Mostert Goal #3 – 7 total touchdowns

Mostert certainly won’t be an every down, grind-it-out type of running back for the Dolphins. In fact, he might only average a touch or two per possession. But it shouldn’t be a surprise to see him lead the team in rushing touchdowns, pending his health of course.

He proved to be the big play guy in Mike McDaniel’s offensive system throughout the years, and that especially so during his 10-touchdown 2019 campaign. He has game-breaking speed to be able to account for a handful of long scores during a full schedule, and could see some touches in the red zone as well, whether it be by way of handoffs or catching passes.

If things go to plan and the Dolphins’ three-pronged backfield attack works the way that they hope it does, then there should be a somewhat even distribution of touchdowns throughout the bunch. Mostert could challenge for the most rushing scores on the team, and should add a couple of reception touchdowns.

5 rushing and 2 receiving touchdowns is a modest goal for Mostert if he is able to play in a majority of the contests.
