Miami Dolphins: Tyreek Hill Goal #1 – 1,100+ yards

One of the knocks on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa early on in his career is his lack of eye-popping statistics, especially in the yards category. But that could change for the better in 2022, thanks in large part to Tyreek Hill.

Since his rookie season, Hill has finished with less than 1,000 yards just once, which came in a season in which he missed four games. He has amassed a combined 2,500+ receiving yards in the last two seasons combined, averaging nearly 80 yards per game in his 32 contests.

There is reason to believe that Hill will see at least a slight decrease in his production in 2022. He is leaving one of the most high-powered offenses and most talented quarterbacks the game has ever seen in exchange for an unproven commodity in Tagovailoa, and there is plenty of criticism about his decision.

But perhaps Tyreek Hill was the reason that the Chiefs’ offense was elite, and the hope is that he can bring some of that magic to Miami.

Tagovailoa won’t be having the crazy statistical seasons that Patrick Mahomes has had, and there are a good amount of mouths to feed on the Dolphins’ offense. But Hill will certainly be one of the premiere options, and is the favorite to lead the team in most categories.

Hill should have a base goal of 1,100 receiving yards for 2022.
