The New England Patriots fanbase is one that is hard to understand. They sell out Gillette Stadium but many simply packed it in when Tom Brady left.

Patriots fans are not only the worst in the division but many fans outside of the division can’t stand many of them. We don’t want to call out every Patriots fan because they are not all obviously bad but as a whole, leave them home from your Super Bowl parties.

The reality is simple, when the Patriots were pre-Belichick, you could get tickets really cheap and pretty much name your location in the stadium. Many fans are fickle with this organization and they will jump ship the second the Patriots start losing.

No other team’s fan base will make as many excuses either. Cheating? No they didn’t. Lost draft picks and fined? Goodell has it out for us. Truth is, the Patriots have been more involved in cheating scandals than any other team in NFL history and their fans couldn’t care less. Super Bowl wins will do that and yes, I’m sure three other AFC East teams would trade for them.

Patriots fans are arrogant and what’s funny is that when Tom Brady left for the Buccaneers, there were a lot of N.E. fans that bought his jersey. Sorry, but had Marino left for the Vikings way back in 1999, I wouldn’t have owned that jersey. Fickle.
