Devonte Dedmon was one of those players that quite a few people were saying to watch out for when Miami Dolphins camp began. So far, not much.

Dedmon won the CFL’s top special teams player award and was an outstanding returner in the league to the north but so far, he isn’t making an impact in Miami.

Dedmon is listed behind Raheem Mostert and Jaylen Waddle for the kick returner job and while it would seem Miami would be better off not using either of their starters to do this job, Dedmon hasn’t really been making waves in camp so far.

This could all change for him when the exhibition season starts on Saturday. Dedmon is quick and should see plenty of opportunities with Mostert and Waddle not likely to play on Saturday.

Fans had high hopes that the addition of the CFL ST standout and maybe once training camp turns to actual games, we will see more of what he can bring to the team. So far, however, he has been relatively quiet and I haven’t really heard too many of those in attendance talking about him. Good or bad.
