Zaquandre White was another player that fans and some on the media were saying Miami Dolphins fans should watch closely.

So far through the camp, White has been pretty quiet. White has shown his ability to make cuts and did score a TD earlier in camp and also had a nice run of about 20 yards that was called back for a hold but other than that, there hasn’t been much to talk about.

Like Dedmon and Ahmed, preseason games are going to give him more opportunities but will those get him a spot on the final 53-man roster or a ticket to the practice squad? Fans are hoping so because many are still asking how he is doing. In a few days, they will see him first-hand.

White is buried on the depth chart but this is not definitive and will change between now and September. There is still a path for White but it isn’t going to be easy.

With Mostert and Edmonds guaranteed to make the roster and Myles Gaskin a likely third runner, the 4th and potentially 5th spot will go to Ahmed, Sony Michel, Gerrid Doaks, and White. Add in the fullback position and you wonder if Miami will carry 5 running backs.
