#2) Skylar Thompson – QB:

Miami Dolphins QB Skylar Thompson was selected in the 7th round by the Miami Dolphins this past 2022 draft, and the rookie has caught the eye of both coaches and fans. Skylar Thompson has shown he has ‘that dawg in em’ when his team needs him the most this pre-season.

Miami Herald reporter Barry Jackson stated:

For 2 weeks in a row, QB Skylar Thompson has brought electricity to the Miami Dolphins offense, his skillset on the field and veteran-style composure commanding the offense have allowed the talents of Lynn Bowden Jr., Trent Sherfield, River Cracraft, and Braylon Sanders to stand out.

It is a rarity nowadays for teams to keep 3 QBs in the final 53-man roster, but Thompson might be so good the Miami Dolphins might have to keep him.

Not afraid of the moment, willing to push the ball down the field, trusts his receivers to finish a play for him, and brings a spark and electricity to not only his huddle but the stadium as well. I was at Hard Rock on Saturday and the game was a snooze fest until Skylar Thompson went in and lit it up.
