The Miami Dolphins wide receiver room has been one of the most talked about position groups during camp and final cuts are going to be extremely difficult.

  • 12: Tyreek Hill
  • 13: Jaylen Waddle
  • 14: Erik Ezukanma
  • 15: Cedrick Wilson

There isn’t much more to be said here. These four are the absolute locks to make the team. The next two or three spots will be the tough choices to make. I still believe that no less than six receivers will be kept and possibly seven at the absolute most.

  • 16: Lynn Bowden, Jr.
  • 17: Trent Sherfield

Bowden’s play as a returner should lock in his spot on the 53 and there is versatility and a spot for him in the WR room. Sherfield has had a good camp and has earned his spot but it is going to come down to how Miami feels about River Cracraft who could be the 7th WR kept.

I don’t see any way Preston Williams makes this roster but I do expect Braylon Sanders to make it to the PS. Mohamed Sanu is a savvy veteran but Miami can’t afford to eat a roster spot over Sherfield and Cracraft to keep him.
