The Miami Dolphins front seven including the linebackers and defensive linemen are not going to be an easy decision.

  • 40: Jerome Baker
  • 41: Andrew Van Ginkel
  • 42: Melvin Ingram
  • 43: Jaelan Phillips
  • 44: Cameron Goode
  • 45: Channing Tindall

Six players including both rookies should be locked to make the roster. The question is who will make the final 53 behind them? The competition for potentially three spots comes down to experience.

  • 46: Sam Eguavoen

I think Eguavoen will make the team because of his run defense. I’m not sure about Duke Riley who has been up and down in camp. I also can’t be sure that Calvin Munson, Elandon Roberts, and Brennan Scarlett have shown enough to stick around this year.

There has been talk that the Dolphins will add Trey Flowers to the roster as well and if that is the case, it is one less roster spot for one of these players.

  • 47: Player not on the roster – Trey Flowers
  • 48: Porter Gustin

This gives the Dolphins 9 linebacker which is where I think the unit lands.
