This portion of this wonderful Miami Dolphin article contains my notes. I saw and wrote down these notes and I really think you should see them. I take stupendous notes.

No practice, no problem. If you can believe it, some folks thought that because the Miami Dolphins didn’t practice on Thursday due to upset tummy, they would come out very flat.

If you listen to these guys for betting advice, God help you.

Mostert had that burst. He took that carry to the outside and defenders had no chance. Love seeing that.

River Cracraft gets open. He dropped that one ball but he had an excellent night. He scored from that pass from Tua and was consistently getting separation. At worst, I think he’s on the practice squad. Knowing the offense from San Francisco may even get him on the 53-man roster. I also wouldn’t be surprised if coach Wes Welker doesn’t think he can make him into a version of himself.

I love all the motion happening on offenses. It’s like watching a pitcher setting up a hitter. There’s an artistry to it.

I feel like Tua’s game can be equated to Bill Murray’s game in Space Jam. There’s going to be a lot of misdirection and crafty ball placement.

Melvin Ingram looked like he had a very good giddy-up. He didn’t have any sacks but he was close a few times and he put the tackle in the QBs face once or twice. I’ll take that all day.

Hey, Noah Igbinohene had a PBU. Good for him. I imagine he makes the team. Not sure he should but I think he does.

How can you not just love Zach Sieler? This guy is a bonafide stud. He uses brute force as well as anyone I’ve seen in years.

People should really be thanking Tua. The number of jobs he’s created for folks whose job it is to track every one of his throw’s air yardage is staggering. Point blank; Tua is good for the economy

Tua got sacked. I think it’s more on Tua but Austin Jackson didn’t exactly help him out too much on the play. Tua usually senses that and gets away. I’m glad he got right back up.

Jason Sanders is so money and he doesn’t even know it. He’s a sneaky candidate for team MVP. He’s dialed in and it shows.

Benito Jones is going to make this team and he should. This guy has made plays every game so far. He blew up a few screens by being in the QBs face. Also, he’s enormous and uses that size to create piles. I’m down for that.

I’d be very surprised if Jaelan Phillips didn’t have double-digit sacks this year. Even on one-step drops, he’s getting to the QB. It’s not impossible that he doesn’t end up being the best out of that draft class.

Cethan Carter tried lead blocking on a play and made it look like he tried leaping at the backer from 20 yards away. He fell short of his mark and the play went nowhere.

Mike Gesicki with a nice catch on a read-option play. It was an extremely easy throw for Tua. See what happens when you can run the ball even a little bit.?

Sony Michel scored from a yard out. Cool

River Cracraft with a very nice downfield block that created more yards. I think we all know just how much of an emphasis Mike McDaniel puts on wide receiver blocking.

Mr. Preseason, Sam Eguavoen, had a sack. Of course, he did. See you next August.

Another game, another Skylar Thompson looking like he’s a seasoned vet out there. His best play may have been an incompletion where he rolled to his left and threw a 50-yard dime to Erik Ezukanma that was knocked away. Here’s how the Slark finished up his preseason campaign.

They don’t give out a preseason MVP award but Thompson would easily have it. He’s been nothing short of dynamite. The smoothness of his game is intoxicating. He will be on the 53-man roster to open the season. Question is, will Teddy Bridgewater make the team? He probably will but it’s not a lock like it was a month ago.

It’s going to be interesting who wins the final running back job. Edmonds and Mostert are in. That leaves Michel, Gaskin, and ZaQuandre White. I think White gets put on the practice squad, Michel makes the team, and Gaskin gets released or traded.

This is neat.
