A bounce-back season should be in the cards for a motivated Jason Sanders.

If you have read any of my past power rankings, or even my article focuses solely on Jason Sanders, then you know how much I value kickers.

Sanders struggled in 2021 after having a career season in 2020. His struggles cost the Dolphins points, which cost them a game or two. Sanders had a strong showing in the pre-season by going 8-for-9 on field goals, his one missed field goal that cost the Dolphins the game against the Las Vegas Raiders, and a perfect 9-for-9 on extra points.

Considering how shaky the offense was last season, and the year before, Sanders should have an even bigger season on a good offense. If Sanders can regain his 2020 form, a season in which he made 91.3% of his field goals and 100% of his extra points, then the Dolphins will expect points anytime they cross the 50-yard line. Having a kicker that can always make the most out of a drive is one of the best things any offense can have, it impacts your play calling and situational play calling.

If Sanders can regain his 2020 form, he should be one of the best kickers in all of football. Personally, I have Sanders on most of my fantasy football teams and I expect him to crack the top 5 of these power rankings at different points in the season.
