In years past, this easily would have belonged to the Patriots but the Miami Dolphins have improved their offensive trench.

Offensive line

  • Dolphins vs. Patriots
  • Edge: Push

I can’t say that the Dolphins have the superior offensive line because it hinges on the play of Connor Williams at center and Terron Armstead staying healthy. Add into the mix Austin Jackson and Liam Eichenberg’s progress and you still have more questions.

In New England, they have questions of their own. Isaiah Wynn had a great first year but then dropped a bit in year two and in his third season, he was stable but not the superior force he was his rookie season.

One of those reasons could be the players around him. The Patriots’ offensive line has struggled through camp and in the preseason but Belichick typically gets the most out of players in the trenches so it could be worth watching when it counts.
