A player that the Miami Dolphins must prepare for #1: Matt Judon

He hasn’t been much of a difference maker in the Patriots matchups with the Dolphins, but Matt Judon could be the New England defender that Miami game plans for the most.

Last season was Judon’s first with the Patriots after spending his first five years in Baltimore, but that didn’t affect his streak of Pro Bowls. In fact, he qualified for this third in a row while putting up a career-high 12.5 sacks, which tied him for 7th in the league with Aaron Donald, and was two more than Joey Bosa had.

If the Dolphins’ offense hopes to get off on the right foot, they’ll have to get consistent gains in the running game, while keeping Tua Tagovailoa upright on passing downs. Limiting Judon’s effectiveness will be a high priority, and the task will likely be handed down to the newly acquired Terron Armstead.

It will be a good test for the new Dolphins tackle as he looks to prove to be the savior of the offensive line, and fans in Miami will go crazy for him if he is able to minimize Judon’s impact on the game.
